About us
Dethleffs is one of the most traditional producers of recreational vehicles. The company is located in Isny im Allgäu in the south of Germany and belongs to the Erwin Hymer Group. Its long history goes back to 1931 when Arist Dethleffs invented the first caravan with the words “Not without my family”. This invention allowed his family to travel with him on his business trips. Since then family stayed the core value of the company. The slogan “A friend of the family” is lived out to the fullest and goes far beyond the product itself. Our motto is: the whole family is our main concern regardless its size. We have always focused on the business location Germany: due to quality reasons but also due to a sense of social responsibility. At the same time we export all over the world. Dethleffs developed the Tradition T 5970 exclusively for the Chinese market. It is based on an IVECO chassis with a powerful 180 hp engine. The light and modern design in combination with 205 cm headroom provide a good feeling of space. Smart solutions such as the closet under the bed or the folding worktop extension provide additional space in this compact motorhome "Made in Germany".
